  • I'm not sure why one particular form of birth control should be given out for free. There are many, many other forms of birth control, and none of those methods are free. But it seems reasonable to have a prescription drug discount, like other 'maintenance' drugs that are taken month after month.

  • Where did you see that two tickets WEREN'T bought? How odd that bumping ONE passenger from ONE seat (supposedly the LAST available seat) meant there were TWO seats left on the plane for the passenger who needed them.

  • I couldn't find anything in the article to indicate that the late passenger had not purchased two seats. In fact, if the sales rep bought the last seat, how were there two seats available for the teen? The reporting in this story is very fishy.

  • Yes, I was wondering the same thing. I think the teen MUST have had two seats reserved, because if the sales rep had purchased the LAST seat, the teen would still only have one seat. So how were there two seats available?

  • This article is very misleading. The standby passenger could not have purchased the LAST seat, because if the teen needed two seats, there must have been two seats together in that row, or it would have been a moot point.

  • After carefully re-reading this article, it seems that the sales rep is either mistaken or not entirely truthful. She could not have been in the LAST seat, if her seat plus another seat was needed for the teen. That would mean that TWO seats must have been available, in the same row.

  • On the other hand, most major department stores carry sizes up to 14, so even at that size you wouldn't 'need' to shop in a plus-sized store, even if those stores start at that size. I wear a size 6, and I often see more available options on the racks between 10-14.
